Photo Display Idea for Graduation Senior Table

Looking for a fresh way to display photos at your graduation party? Instead of using the traditional 3-panel board (which we had already done for the cheer banquet and soccer party), we went a different route—and I’m so glad we did!

We chose to clip photos onto strings using a multi-panel frame setup. There are tons of ways to make this work—stringing jute twine across pallets, large empty photo frames, or even old window panes. My plan was to DIY with jute twine and some repurposed frames, but I lucked out and found Christmas advent calendar-style frames on clearance. Since they were already hinged, they made a great backdrop.

We added two hinges to connect three frames, and from there, stapled twine across the backs to create rows for photos. I used Kraft cardstock paper as backing to help each picture pop, and clipped them on with small clothespins—just be mindful of where the clips land so they don’t cover faces (though sometimes that’s tricky!).

It turned out to be a beautiful and personal centerpiece for our graduation senior table, and I’ve linked similar frame options below in case you want to create your own!

Below is a photo of the frame after I hinged the three panels together. You’ll also notice a few pieces of blank photo cardstock clipped in place while I tested different color options.

I ended up using pre-cut Kraft cardstock paper (shown below), which fit perfectly behind all my photos and really made them pop.

Close Ups

Here are a few close-ups. I tried to place the clothespins carefully so they wouldn’t clip over anyone’s head—though sometimes that was tough to avoid!

And that’s it. Our photo display idea for our graduation senior table.
