We found so many cute GREEN food ideas for our St. Patrick’s Day care package.
Our St. Patrick’s Day care package turned out really cute. My friend Caroline worked on the cute box design for this care package because I have been crazy busy at work. There are so many fun green-themed foods and surprised in this box.

Find a box.
Figuring out what you’ll use for your box is one of the first things you need to do. The size of the your box determines how much can fit inside and also determines how you can decorate your box.
While there are many sizes of boxes available, I decided to go with one that is 10″ x 7″ x 4″.
I liked this box because it is deep enough to hold various types of items. Click here to see the box that I got on Amazon. They’re available with Amazon Prime, so there wasn’t a shipping cost. I have a care package group so we’ll all use these. I also like this size because it doesn’t take a lot to fill it up.
Pick your quotes/sayings.

Create printouts or cut out paper with your St. Patrick’s Day sayings and quotes.
Measure the size of your flaps and inside.
You’ll need to know the size of each of the flaps you’ll be covering with paper. And if you’ll be covering the inside of your box, measure those as well. I often use Microsoft Word and create text boxes the size of the box sides and flaps. Then I type my sayings into those text boxes. The Dollar Tree always has great stickers!
Fill the box with green items.
There are many great green themed options, especially snacks.
Apply shipping label.
I love these Avery labels that I got on Amazon! You can go the Avery website and there are dozens of great templates. I can quickly find something cute here that fits my theme. I covered our addresses below with card stock for privacy reasons. (These labels make it easier for me to re-use my boxes.) It was so hard to choose my template because there were four really cute choices on the Avery website.
