Use ready-made chocolate chip cookie dough and m&m’s to make these patriotic cookie bars.
Ingredients:
- Red, white, and blue m&m’s
- Nestle Toll House cookie dough
How to make:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place parchment paper into a 13″x 9″ glass pan.
Scoop cookie dough into the pan.
Use a spoon or scoop to drop pieces of dough into the pan. Leave some dough in the container to use later as you’re evening out the pan.
Use parchment paper or wax paper to press the cookie dough into the pan.
As you press the dough, make sure you’re making the dough depth consistent throughout and that the cookie dough is pressed up against the sides. Use the remaining dough as needed to even out the depth.
Here is a picture of my dough pressed in the pan.
Pour a cup of m&m’s on top of the cookie dough.
Leave some in the bowl to place where there are gaps.
Press each m&m into the dough.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Let cool and cut into small pieces.
