How I created a poisoned theme tiered tray display
Creating Halloween tiered tray decor is easy when you follow a few simple steps. My blog pages contain affiliate links which means that I may earn a small commission when purchases are made from the links.
1. Pick your colors.
I recommend picking 2-4 colors for your tiered stand display.
For this 3-tiered tray, I selected purple, green, and black as my primary colors. I tried to put a little of each of the colors on each tier.
2. Add some greenery.
I like to add greenery to every tiered tray I make. It adds color and warmth to the tray. While both live and artificial plants are great, I typically use artificial plants. You’ll see the plants peeking out around items on each tray.
Here are some great small plants on Amazon that are perfect for tiered tray displays.
4. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.
I like to tie common items or themes throughout each layer of the tray. In this Halloween tiered tray decor, poison bottles can be found in each tier. In addition, the candle is repeated on two of the tiers.
I added the skeleton salad tongs from the Dollar Tree as accents. For just $1, these were a great add!
5. Vary heights.
Select items of various heights to create visual interest when creating Halloween tiered tray decor.
You can also use items for risers to create differences in height. For example, the wooden disks and cupcake holders below are great for getting height within your tiered tray. I love to use these in many types of displays in my home.
