Tiered Tray Decor for Halloween

Tiered trays make a great home decor and provide accessible storage for Halloween.

Creating tiered tray decor for Halloween is a fun way to pull themed items together into a holiday display. I have a lot of Halloween decor items and decided to build several Halloween decor displays.

Use tiered trays to display small decorative dishes.

Looking for a cute way to show off some of your small decorative mugs and plates? A small tiered tower is the perfect solution. I love these skeleton plates and mugs and didn’t want them to be hidden away in my cabinets. By putting them in this small tiered tray, they’re close at hand for functional use. In addition, the decorative tray made great holiday decor for my counter top!

Here’s another example of a tiered tray being used to display my skeleton mugs, skeleton bowls, and candy bowls. Notice that this tray has taller sides on the trays, creating the need to use risers to show off my items. I typically use cupcake pedestals and wood slices to get the height I need in my tiered trays with taller sides. I’ve linked to these items below the photo.

Greenery

Greenery always adds a great touch to your tiered tray decor (even though I didn’t use it here – shame on me). Often the height between tier levels is minimal so you’ll need to find some small plants to fit on each layer. The plants below are small and likely to fit in many tiered trays.

Display wine glasses on a tiered tray.

A tiered tray is also a great place to pull together and display decorative seasonal wine glasses. We don’t have room for the seasonal wine glasses in our cabinets. And who wants to put the wine glasses behind cabinet doors when they’re this cute? I put the wine opener on the tray to make it easy and functional. By the way, I love my Houdini wine opener.
